Onlia is a Toronto-based digital insurance and fintech company reimagining how Canadians understand, buy, and interact with home and auto insurance. Built on the backing of established industry leader, the Netherlands’ Achmea, Onlia’s mission was to make insurance simple, transparent, and accessible through technology.
SALT + COMPANY partnered with Onlia to develop an evidence-based communications and content strategy rooted in road safety and prevention. Our work focused on positioning Onlia as a credible and trusted voice in an emerging digital-insurance landscape — one that values behaviour change, not just claims.
We created research-driven content across channels, shaped Onlia’s thought-leadership voice, and led public-facing media efforts. This included producing campaign messaging and editorial content that linked digital tools, safe-driving habits, and insurance rewards in a cohesive narrative. SALT also represented Onlia in major media outlets (Toronto Star, CTV, Global, CP24) and at high-profile events such as the Toronto Auto Show and Collision Conference.
