OPERATIONAL ADVISORYOperator-level execution for operations-heavy businesses.

WHO WE WORK WITHGrowth that has outpaced the structure underneath it
We work with operations-heavy businesses, most often in construction, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, and field services, where growth has outpaced the systems and structure supporting it. In many of these companies, the owner is still absorbing decisions that should have moved off their desk, and the organization has not been redesigned for its current stage.
SERVICESTwo engagements, one purpose
ENGAGEMENT ONE
Ops Diagnostic
FIXED SCOPE — THREE WEEKS
A fixed-scope operational assessment that identifies exactly where the business is losing time, money, or capacity, and what to do about it first.
ENGAGEMENT TWO
Fractional COO Retainer
ONGOING — MONTHLY
Ongoing operational leadership that picks up directly from the Diagnostic's roadmap, without the cost or risk of a full-time executive hire.
WHAT WE EXAMINESeven areas, one integrated view
Every Diagnostic begins with the business and its market, then moves through six areas that consistently determine whether operations hold up under growth.
The result is a findings report, a prioritized roadmap, and a working session with leadership.
What you walk away with is not a list of problems. It's a clear, specific answer to what's actually holding the business back, and what to do about it first.
-
Before any operational review begins, we establish the organization's customer base, market position, and strategic intent, since this context determines how every subsequent finding should be interpreted.
-
We examine where decisions are actually made within the organization, as distinct from where the org chart indicates they should be made, and identify which decisions can be delegated without introducing risk.
-
We trace how work moves from initial engagement through completion, identifying where handoffs break down and where inefficiency has become embedded in daily operations.
-
We assess the tools currently in use, the visibility gaps between them, and where automation or AI could reasonably close existing gaps. This review is included in every Diagnostic at no additional cost.
-
We evaluate whether margin, cost, and cash position are visible to decision-makers in time to act on them. Most leadership teams can state their overall margin. Few can say which specific client, job, or product line is actually subsidizing the rest of the business.
-
We assess whether the organization's structure matches its current stage, identifying capacity strain, overlapping responsibilities, and key-person risk.
-
We identify where process depends on undocumented knowledge, where compliance or safety exposure has gone unaddressed, and what risk the organization is carrying without having formally named it.
