March Dispatch

We love to feature content developed for clients, like this piece for insurance client, Onlia. The original article can be viewed here.

Welcome back to the Dispatch, Onlia’s monthly dive into the news you need to know. As we all look to navigate this uncertain time, we encourage you to stay safe, and stay home. To make the transition a bit easier, we've dedicated this edition of the Dispatch to sharing some resources that can help us all feel protected and empowered as we all work to #flattenthecurve.

Homebound hacks

Hanging out at home these days? We know the feeling. This is a great time to get to know your ride, and understand how to monitor and maintain your vehicle. Spiff up that sedan or SUV with our vehicle maintenance checklist. While you may be extra motivated to disinfect your entire car, make sure you’re doing it right– some approaches work better than others.

Take it up a notch and practice your DIY skills. Knowing how to change an engine air filterswap out wiper blades, and check your oil can help you master your car and save some money at the mechanic.

Of course, all of these projects can be tricky if you are finding it hard to move around a cluttered garage. We dare you to take this time and organize your space, KonMari style.

Road safety 101

If you have little ones at home, chances are you may be searching for something to do. We love some great artwork, and think these printable pages are awesome to teach colouring and educate on some of the rules of the road. If your mini-Picasso tries these out, post their works of art on Instagram and tag us!

Socialize, but online

Change up your newsfeed content with some refreshing entertainment – but definitely take the following videos just as entertainment, not inspiration!

Some things are made to go together (like peanut butter and jelly) but others just don’t mix well. This month, it is musical instruments and bikes. While Twitter user Ali Spagnola can play both the saxophone and drums while riding her bike, we wouldn’t recommend you try this one at home – or on the roads.

And while we’re at it, just a reminder that bikes are just better for riding, not acrobatic performances either. Leave it to the experts, like Viola Brand on the Ellen Show. It is a heart-stopper, but could be a doozy to try during your downtime.
