FOUNDER + PRINCIPAL

Alexandra Kelly is a leader in road safety, with over a decade of experience designing program strategies for the public, private, and non-profit sectors. With a focus on systems-based transportation solutions, including Vision Zero and Smart Cities, Alex integrates innovation into every project. 

Alex is currently the Founder and Principal of SALT + COMPANY, consultancy that works with organizations to increase their impact to change the future of transportation. In this role, she has advanced the autonomous vehicle industry, connected international ride-sharing clients to valuable stakeholders, and crafted engagement strategies for the vehicle insurance industry. 

Alex previously served as Director of Canada’s first Vision Zero institute, working with all levels of government, as well as municipalities and organizations to advance the adoption of Vision Zero in Canada, and around the world. 

Prior to that, Alex worked in the non-profit sector, alongside government and the private sector, to create evidence based road-safety solutions. Select contributions have included the design and launch of the inaugural National Teen Driver Safety Week in Canada, co-chairing the Canadian Global Road Safety Committee, and board member of Canadian Association of Road Safety Professionals.

Alex holds a Masters of Science in Public Health from the University of London and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from Queen’s University.
